    Where to start?

This is another hang up that most people have and goes hand in hand with exhaustion and putting things off for another day.

Of course if you¡Çre at this stage then you¡Çve come further than most clutter bugs, because you¡Çre actually at the stage where you want to get something done. But then you look at the whole mess and think where do I start.

And that¡Çs it. You¡Çre back to square one again with exhaustion pulling at you and making you want to sit down somewhere and put your feet up.

It also has the added benefit of driving you slightly insane with thought of trying to even finish the decluttering process.

What you need to do here is very simple and very straightforward. You just need to dive right in. Don¡Çt look left, don¡Çt look right, and most of all don¡Çt look out the door or the windows, just go for it.

At this point you can forget about doing any of the other things that I mention in the book. Those can come later when you find that you¡Çre more dedicated towards the cause of decluttering.

For now, for this one moment in time, don¡Çt think of anything than trying to get a small portion of the room uncluttered. It won¡Çt matter which portion just so long as you stick with it for your allotted time.
